Neck protection
Hi Mobbers,
Got the pressure suit, gloves, knee and shins etc. and looking at safety gear for neck protection. My son 14yo does DH and has FFace helmet etc. And I have been to TBSM site to have a look at neck protection. Looks like there has been a few developments with this over the last 6 months or so with the availability of "Race Collar" rather than the large full on neck braces. Cheaper too. Any comments from you guys would be appreciated.

IMO the Leatt GPX or Alpine Star Bionic braces are the way to go.
yeah the evo neck collars are cheaper but I like theory behind the way the braces work. They are expesive but cheaper than a new neck
Yep, agree with Flynny. I just bought myself a Leatt. So comfortable and you don't even notice it's on when you're riding. I got mine from Northern beaches Cycles.
