The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Terry Hills Tavern Car Park. 2 Amomora Raod (Just off Mona Vale Road)
It's on again!!!
Due to the good turnout last Wednesday and since someone else won't post this ride. I have had to put this one on the website. All the usual details apply:
- It's going to be a bit cold at 10C.
- We will probably do the same track as we did last time - Perimeter, Long Trail (beer) and then Neverfail gully. Its about 27kms and anyway whats the story with these rides getting longer and the pace getting faster? beats me 
- Meet at 7pm at the carpark.
Do let someone know if you're late or not coming so we can keep an eye out for you.

I really enjoyed this weeks terreyhills express!
The return thru Neverfail ..was new and exciting..more to do than just the old perimeter and long tracks yet..
I was back there late on Wednesday night...and guess what..some idiota left his wheel in the carpark(D'oh) and got it back...
Count me in for more night riding lorrie!

.....is back from the shop I'll be there.
I took my bike into SIC CYCLES to get rid of the creaking sound from my bottom bracked to be told that a bolt was gone from my lower swing arm. $185 + Labour to replace the lot as it was twisted. I'm over this over priced shit. Toyota doent over price my Landcruiser parts by that much. I'm finding a local Machine shop that could make the part for less than half price. Or import the parts from over seas and do It myself.

I'm no expert on the Terrey Hills Tavern - is there anywhere in particular in the car park we congregate.

Good to see that you are in. Turn off Mona Vale road then right into the tavern and then grab a park on your right. Generally by 6.50 we are pretty easy to spot.

Ok, these are for roadies... but you get the idea, add a swingarm and you're away
about facilities at Stromlo.
Have heard there are toilets, showers and BBQ area's but would like to have this confirmed.

Stuart I can't confirm any of these things as I only had eyes for the mount.
There was a structure there at the back of the car park, but as it was positioned 180 degrees from the mount I didn't pay too much attention. Given that there is a a cross country running track, a criterion track, 4X track, trials area, XC tracks, etc there would have to be some facilities. There had been a lot of development in the park.
By the way why don't you come tonight and asl me yourself?
my young friend, last week they nearly killed me and I don't want to be dead the day before I head away. Besides I think I have used all my leave passes getting clearance for this weekend.
Have fun all and don't foget to keep an eye out in the carpark for a right hand fox full fingered glove, similar to what Pikey will be wearing (I think)

"my young friend" I think you have mistaken me for someone else (the young not the friend part) and I completely understand the leave pass situation. I'm still paying for mine.
I rang Mt Stromlo (02 6256 6700) there are toilets and water, but they can't be sure on showers. They have a BBQ they hire out but no public BBQ and fires are banned in the area!
Have a great weekend and remember "NO BRAKES".
