Anybody camping out for the James Williams Enduro? Might be nice to have a bit of a tent city

It's a nice casual 9am start so I'll be driving down on the day

I might be in for a camp out sat night , maybe go for an easy spin in the evening with lights.

in the morning as well. Used to getting up early so not so fussed.

the evening spin sounds good - haven't done much riding under lights so this will be good practice for the Mont.
Are you doin the 50 or 75?

craked's picture

I'm only doing the 50 Steve, what about you?

I'm still trying to shake off holiday mode so am easing into it by taking the soft option as well- two years ago I would not have called a 50km race soft.
BTW i've ended up joining MTBA after our discussion at Yellowmundie - thought I will probably do a few more races this year so instead of getting day licences I got an annual membership which gives insurance whilst racing- something I hope I never need.

yeah I joined as well seems like a good idea ,and I'm sure to do enough events to make it worthwhile .
I don't really think 50k is soft! I will still find it a struggle.

You shouldnt struggle with 50km's, you have making some good numbers I hear during the week.

Just pace yourself etc and you will be fine.

I am doing the 75k!

I'll be right as you said just have to pace yourself ,I'm more used to doin a 10 km dash then having a power nap for half an hour then doing it again five times Smiling see you down there.

Hey Andy,
I'll probably go down in the morning too. Do you want to look at driving down together?
I'm doing the 75 btw.
