Details:
This is a 35-40km ride that covers the full length of the upper Lane Cove Valley, from Pennant Hills to West Pymble. By linking up trails with a few short road sections I've come up with a 3-hour ride with very little backtracking. Mostly firetrail with a bit of singletrack. Not too technical, but a lot of short steep climbs (some very steep!). Some very rocky trails and loose/ sketchy descents - this is not a beginners ride. If you love hills, join me!
Pennant Hills Park is a 2-minute ride from Pennant Hills train station.
Who's in?

I am some what of a local (chatswood west) but have not yet explored lane cove fully. Love to join you JP and take on some of those climbs.
haven't joined a group ride in along time and keen to explore this track
I live on the edge of Lane Cove NP. So I ride there a couple of times a week.
Got a Work farewell on Sat night, so if the pace is going to be more social than race, I should be right. Will ride up and meet you out at Penno Park, get that climb out of the way early. The descent down from West Pymble is a little rough, the rest has a pretty good line forming now or is rough concrete.
Not looking to break any records, and with the number of steep climbs on this ride I'm happy to conserve energy! Looking forward to riding with you.
Sounds like a good pace. Looking forward to it
enjoy the ride but let me know if anyone has a garmin so i can see the course?
If I can get one I'll join you. Let you know tomorrow
Call me if you get lost on 0403999444. Looking forward to a good ride - one section of track is very rocky (sharp rocks) so if you're running tubes best keep the tyre pressure up a bit to avoid pinch flats. See you there!
