Looking for Mont24 team mate
Hey boys and girls
A place has opened up on my Mont team - male 4's (but can be changed to mixed no doubt). We're a bunch of easy going '30 something' weekend warriors all riding 32 minute-ish Dam laps. We're looking for one lucky guy or girl to join our team.
Our team members are (click link to view our hotlaps):
Blades_Utd aka Mike
Jos
Me
This is the last race result from the 2010 Fat Tyre Festival.
So if you're riding at a similar pace and the idea of racing with us lads sounds like fun please get in touch.
Cheers
Phil

but would be happy to fill in.
Hey Phil, not sure if I qualify.
I have to admit I'm a bit rusty having had nearly 9 months off with with injuries, but I'm getting there.
Lap times for the JetBlack24 '11 were 34 - 42 minutes, and it wasn't half hot. I only managed 6 day laps as the heat threw me around pretty badly.
(hydrate, hydrate, and then hydrate some more!) Didn't get any night laps in which was extremely disappointing, but I had to try and get some decent rest, which ultimately also failed, again because of the heat. But I started the race for us and gave a team mate the hurry up so I could sneak in just one more lap at the end... a good time was had by all.
I've checked my work schedule and there's no dramas there. I'm in Bathurst, transportation is a wee bit of an issue as I've let my crumby old Skyline's rego lapse as I'm having a ball riding everywhere. Canberra might be a long ride... But I'll think of something.
This would be my third 24hr, the first was the Scott in '09.
No dramas either way
We've managed to find our 4th rider. He's a 'cycling machine' and I'm really excited about him being onboard.
Thanks to everyone who responded and apologies to PS and Mudman for not replying quick enough. If you're still looking for an entry check out the 'Hook me up' page on the Mont website http://www.mont24.com.au/race/?IntCatId=3&IntCon...
See you at The Mont
