If it’s not raining does anyone want to try a night ride either Wednesday or Thursday night? Whichever is dry?
I just ate a hot chip sandwich for lunch (yuuum) and now feel yukky so really want to get out – plus Coffs is looooming...

Yep I'm keen if the weather clears up. What to ride though? Anyone seen the conditions of the trails after the rain yet?

We rode Duck Hole/Chiltern/Centre yesterday and they were in no worse a state than at Easter.

Given the rain lately think it's safe to say you could ride these after/in pretty much anything.

My lights arrived 2 weeks ago and I still haven't had a chance to take them out with all the rain, I'd be keen unless we have constant rain until then as predicted.

The only thing that might get in the way is work.

Ta,
Matt.

I think that Tavern can be selected as a meeting point.
Go for Wednesday and if its ok we can go again on Thursday after the clothes dry out. Dont think footy will be on.
Is that too keen?

it's not raining..
What do you guys think? Yes?
duck ponds and central...

busting to get out - don't mind where.

Don't you guys need to clock up the km's?? if then Perimeter and long tracks followed by neverfail gully...? just a thought

sure they will be too wet - the others rode duck etc on Sunday and i am pretty sure they drain better...
anyway, hills are good!

I would imagine Sandy Trail will be incredibly boggy. Dunno about Neverfail, but maybe the same. Duckhole/Centre are good 'cos they are on the ridge line.

Sorry though, I'm out this eve. Have fun Smiling

Sorry but have to pull the pin on this one. Friend just reminded me that it's his girlfriends birthday dinner tonight. Totally forgot until just then. Damn people that don't send out email invites Smiling

It was verrrrrry wet today. Clear skies and sunny fortunately.

The stream at the concrete crossing was over axle height and there were deep puddles and rivers everywhere. Pretty much soaked right through by the end.

Soft, muddy and heavy going in places... lots of fallen trees.

Fun anyway and good to get out after all the rain.

Would have been cold tonight ... for those that turned up. You would want to be well fortified at the Tavern before starting!!!

Off to the snow - but hope to ride with the mob again soon.

Cheers, Nic
