Wow...this is becoming a large group for Thursdays night ride....great!

A couple of tips:

☆ Please arrive a bit earlier if you need to set up your bike, fiddle with lights etc....departure from the Tavern's car park is 7 pm sharp so we can make it back (ideally) before the Tavern's kitchen closes for last orders at 8:45 pm.

☆ Please park on Aumuna road outside the Tavern, not in the car park itself as the security guards freak out if 20+ MTB'ers arrive, park their cars on the precious parking space ....and then leave without going to the pub (they don't know we are coming back...).

☆ For the first timers - please bring good lights (ideally 2 - one for the bars and one for the helmet), spare tube, pump etc...and ride within your ability. This is not an organised event - you are responsible for your own safety/first aid/damage to bikes etc. Smiling

☆ For any late comers (we leave at 7 pm sharp), you can catch up, the route is approx. Aumuna road -> Mona Vale road -> Booralie Road -> Echunga Road (before the Japanese School) -> roundabout -> Durumbil gravel road -> Start of single track on left -> Perimeter Track -> Long Track to the lookout, re-group and then return to the Tavern (approx 16 km all up, 1.5 hrs easy pace with stops).

See you there! Eye-wink

At this present moment i wont be able to make the ride (as much as i was looking forward to it). I had to send my rear shock in for repairs and now the shop wont answer the phone so im not sure if its fixed or not. Also would of been the first time riding at night with my lights.

S**T!

sorry guys, I was looking froward to this but I'm still at work ...

Thanks for your company last night, guys, and to Hans for organising. Sorry I was so late joining you - the mixup at home and then missing the turn at the Long Trail junction didn't help! At least I got to do some exploring I suppose. Things look rather different at night LOL!

Would love to do that again, unfortunately midweek is a bit of a challenge when I'm back at work. Maybe on a weekend some time?

Thank's for organising the social night ride and for making sure she got back in one piece. First ride at night for my wife, she enjoyed the ride and the company. Might turn up myself next time if she buys her own set of lights.

Sounds like a good excuse to upgrade.

Worked for me - Josh required a bigger bike, so he got mine and I got a new one. Two people happy for the price of one. Eye-wink

Not sure what I'm gonna do if he keeps growing at this rate, though! Shocked
