Can anybody tell me what happened to Killingworth? Does anybody still ride out there?

The trails are still there.
HMBA used to have an agreement with the Hunter Development Corporation (HDC) to use the land and maintain the trails. Between the uncertainty of the future of the site (looked like either being developed or handed to NPWS) and the heavy moto use causing issues, particularly to the bridges, the club went elsewhere.
I've been meaning to get in contact again with the HDC to see about the land but haven't had a chance.
Long story short, the trails are there but there is no agreement with the HDC for their ongoing use or maintenance so riding there is not strictly legal. That said, they have only ever done a blitz on motos and 4wd's. If you ride there, I just wouldn't part your car in there.
I'll keep the GTA updated on the progress. ,
