Craig Gordon in hit-and-run?
It has just been posted up on Rotorburn that Gordo got hit by a car in a hit-and-run yesterday somewhere west and broke his back and is presently in hospital. Apparently has feeling back in his hands and feet but can't remember much.
If true, please accept my wishes and prayers for a quick recovery, mate.
If anyone can confirm and has more details, would be grateful if you could post some info.

I was chatting with Hamo earlier today. Details are still a bit sketchy. What I do know is his back is broken in 2 places.
Here's to a speedy recovery Gordo! Get better soon fella.
I will miss you out on the track when marshalling & racing ,dude keep positive
Yep, confirmation has just come through another source.
Hope they get the coward scumbag who did it.
Wishing you the best recovery possible mate.
One of the more enjoyable experiences being in the same race with Gordo (whilst def not racing against !! , is to have him blast past you at a million miles an hour, I liken him to a shark in the water , 1 sec he is there then next ......... he is is just gone.
Speedy recovery all the way !!!!
Although I've never actually met the man, he is certainly one of the racers i look up to most.
Best wishes for quick recovery Gordo
Gordo is a legend.
Good news is Gordo is being released by Liverpool Trauma Centre and is going home today. He's got a long way to go to recover and will most likely need an operation.
He has a broken neck at C7, broken back at T7 and broken shoulder blade. He can move his legs but is extremely dizzy.
Fingers crossed we'll get to enjoy him politely saying hi then disappearing into the distance at future events.
Good to hear Gordo is getting released so soon. Hamo said he went to see him yesterday and said he was able to stand and cross his legs which is extremely positive given the extent of his injuries. The neck and back snaps are very clean but the scapula is in a mess. He doesn't remember what happened but he walked to get help and had the presence of mind to call his missus. Hamo said his bike had it's bottom bracket ripped out and his helmet was flattened. Looks like Gordo was a very lucky boy, this collision could've been far far worse. I hope they catch the ba$tard who did this.

Gordo just won the Ginger Ninja up at Orange this weekend. First race back. Incredible. Onya Gordo!
Great news! Sounds like it's been a long road back.
