Anyone used or owned a Thule 510 for their dual sus MTB bike? Any tips or feedback?

I have a Thule (not sure it's the 510) and use it with a Giant Trance. Looks like this

I love it... Bike goes on with both wheels... Twist the knob to tighten the grip on the frame, run the fasteners over the wheels... Takes about 30 seconds to get on and off.

Looks like there's now a new 594 that clamps onto the front wheel... Not sure about this.

You've got the Thule 591 which is the upgrade model of the 510. They're very nice!

Tips?
Get one (or two so a mate can join you on a ride)

Feedback?
Very easy to use. Very convenient. Long after the price is forgotten, the convenience and quality remain.

Quality racks and they look pretty Euro, got 2 on my MPS mated to the actual Thule roof racks.

and my mate's bikes too, never had probs with the following:

Santa Cruz Blur
Santa Cruz Superlight
Rocky Mountain ETSX
Giant XTC

If you have an exotic shape like an Ibis then you'll need ot look at the rack that clips over the front wheel. Which is also very good.

Sorry Scotty. Muchos apologentés comrade.

My mate used to have a Mountain Cycles San Andreas, this would never fit

My Norco Six fits this style of Thule rack - it has a similar frame design to that San Andreas - but the fit is not perfect. Also, standard XC wheels and tyres fit nicely, but DH or FR sizes (anything over about 30mm wheel width) do not fit in the wheel slots very well. It fits, just not very well and you need to do the wheel ties up extra tight.

Getting mine and new racks tomorrow. Back seats needed the break.

There is now a Freeride DH version of the racks to cope with this. + have a much stiffer arm to cope with the added weight.
