An exciting new event for Norfolk Island featuring a cross-country mountain bike programme over rain forest and rural road courses on this beautiful South Pacific island set in an exciting pristine subtropical environment. Arrive to a warm welcome and embark on a soft adventure experience for mountain bike cycling held across three days inclusive of mixed single track and bush trails in our National Park & Selwyn Reserves, an orienteering challenge, a criterium course in World Heritage Listed historic Kingston, an uphill surf to summit dash and finally on to the endurance ride of the ‘Bump & Grind’ road race.

Norfolk Island, located approx 1600klm east of Sydney and 1000klm northwest of Auckland, features subtropical rain forest and diverse rural terrain on the undulating plateau of a volcanic atoll. It’s the perfect place to combine a holiday with your passion for mountain biking. Open to all cycling enthusiasts we’ll introduce participants to a taste of Norfolk’s bountiful hospitality while providing plenty of scope to enjoy the fellowship of riders from all parts of the region. Flights to Norfolk Island depart from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle, and Auckland and accommodation packages range from self contained apartments to hotel resorts.
The MTB Cross-Country Tour package comprises six cycling events, welcome function, boxed lunch between forestry events, Norfolk Fish Fry, and Gala Presentation dinner. Travel arrangements for airfares, accommodation, ground transfers and tours available through your local Travel Agent.
