hey guys,

I am on a mission for a good bike lock.......one I can attach to the street stand without the local boys cutting it...

Can anyone recommend?? Not keen on my lovely Kona going walkabouts...

random thoughts and other info appreciated.

Cheers,
Anna

I would have thought a trained pit bull may work a treat.

are a good idea to leave locked up in public places, keep the Kona locked up at home between rides!

well I'm upgrading to a duel suspnsion Kona...but want to ride the good old , and I mean old, hardtail to the beach, shops etc....and Bunnings has the most unimpressive selection to date.

my new kona will be sleeping in my room. Smiling

heavy as they are, the only ones i think that will be slightly more of a deterent than the cable ones are those steel roddy "D" lock style ones , but if they want it, they'll get it.. i was using a kryptonite thick cabley one for a while, and that did the job for brief shop visits, but anything u can cut off in 2 seconds with a pair of bolt cutters dont inspire confidence! and I would rather place my john thomas in the hands of a lunatic with a pair of scissors than leave my new one chained to anything!
