Ride Database Entry:
Manly Dam Details:
Another bit of a social hit out, somewhere different for a change.
No Pub at the end so don't forget to BYO, maybe the rock along the golf course sniggle would be a good spot.
At the moment no plans to do Bantry Bay but we can decide on the night depending on who is there.
Caro I could lend you some lights if you want to borrow the rush again and show us all how to get down the B line.
Yes that is quarter to eight at night, 7.45pm, 19.45, 4hr 15mins before Wednesday for all those so inclined.
Who's in?
Rob, pikey, Stuart M, christine, davis_jnr, Paul (6 riders)

wow, thats a long ride
When:Tue 17 Jul (19:45) - for approx. 112 hours
solo 24hr events.
OK it should have been 1 & 1/2 hrs but clearly that box in the ride meeting only recognizes numbers. Just wanted to point that out for everyone else.
george and mildred will be there
112 hours was a bit long when i have to work the next day!!!
MEEE
ps who is the blonde one now - hey...
Durh!
P.S. Hit the star if you're coming Mildred
Can I cast a vote for Bantry Bay
...at least the Bantry side will be dry i am guessing?
Given that not everyone has a lot of experience in riding sniggle at night, if we do Bantry Bay we should probably take the short-cut that by-passes the really technical part of Bantry Bay (and some of the climbing).
That's if I give in and agree to do Bantry Bay
with Stuart - bit concerned about how my lights are going to help me tonight
may be a lot of walking for Mildred!
How about a compromise - we cross the Parkway and go up the fire trail missing the Bantry Bay single track. If you like as a side ride we can go to the Bantry Bay lookout (all fire trail and 500 metres each way).
Back on Bantry Bay Rd we can continue up to the Aquatic Centre, then follow the pipeline to the Allambie Rd and do the top sniggle joining up at the boardwalk - this way we can miss most of the muddy bits.
And miss the Dam downhill and climb? Pah!
Oh dear, is this an admission I'm considering coming? Brrrrrrrrr
would like to thank you all for your patience and humour last night! I found that ride on that new bike so bloody challenging - but you all already know that!
Of course, in hindsight (a wonderful thing) I had a lovely time - even with the otb!!
