Anybody for Sunday the 15th?

Hiya!

Just wondering if anybody is interested in doing a ride on Sunday?

Same story as for Saturday: somewhere dryish, riding for a few hours not tooooo far away...

Would love to go to Kincumber, missed out last time, even though it seems stupid to do the same ride on two consecuitve days.

Also possible: The Oaks, Ourimbah, Wisemans Ferry , somewhere south?, or maybe just Terry Hills (wasn't too bad even in the rain last time)...

Ideas...?

Cheers
Carolin

Junkie, you're in, but you don't even know for what? Geeze... what a trail sl*t! Laughing out loud

I'd like to join those other well known Sydney riders up North-ish (think leaving Sydney 6:30am for big climbs and rocky XC) this weekend, if there aren't too many of us I'll ask if they mind the company. Would anyone be up for that?

Sunday might be one of us in - Saturday might be 2.
How was the Rush Caro? What else have you tried??

if at first you don't succeed, try not to look astonished.

Though I'm hedging my bets between a Saturday ride and a Sunday ride. And Sat night is when Le Tour hits the Alps ...

The Oaks or Ourimbah sounds good to me.

As for somewhere south, how about Menai/Lucas Heights?

We rode Duck Hole and Centre Track last night and it was in surprisingly good condition.

The ground was mostly firm, not boggy like I expected. There was standing water in the hollows and run off streams across the water bars, but nothing to slow you down.

A quick non-stop lap plus 2 beers in the tavern and then home for Day 3 of Le Tour. It doesn't get better than that.

I'm up for a ride on Sunday for sure.
Pretty keen on hitting up Ourimbah or possibly the Oaks...i'm a bit over THills at the moment would like something a little more technical.
Being totally selfish because I need to look into setting up my suspension over the weekend... Eye-wink

I think it will be either

The Andersons/Oaks
Kincumber
or
Ourimbah

(Goodness! Surch a hard life! Choosing between 3 great rides, how lucky are we!! Smiling )

Prefered starting time 9.30/10ish (to allow for Tour watching -you know who you are Smiling -, and going out Saturday night Eye-wink)

Let's wait a bit longer and see what the weather does, then we don't have to repost etc....

Happy days!! Laughing out loud

They start practicing about 8am onwards. You can still ride pretty much all the XC trails though!

I might be tempted too! I have some more kit coming in this week from Chain Reaction cycles so if that comes in on time i should be right.

I can do a Sunday ride, but not an early one. If the ride is at 9 or 10, I will be happy to join you guys.

My prreference would be Oaks. Or back to Kincumber. Laughing out loud

Hey, anyone made up their mind on Sunday yet?

I'm racing at the WSMTB club round, they welcome guest riders and it's at a new track.

It's quite a fun little track.

The last I heard, the Kincumber ride was the go'er. Will know more by Friday or Saturday. Smiling

Gilbo and co have arranged Kincumber on Sat. Yes? It's in the calendar: Kincumber re-visit and explore.
