Has anyone got a good idea where I can find a price list on second hand bikes ? I like this bike on ebay, yes we have all been there, and want to know if this is a good deal or not. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks Rich

A bike probably halves in value as you walk out of the shop Sad

Take off more for worn parts, cosmetic marks on the frame (even though they make no diff to the riding experience), etc, etc.

Older designs, not matter what they originally retailed at drop even more (it's not as bad as computers, but as technology marches on things get cheaper and better).

Anyhow - what's the ebay link? Let's all have a look.

I purchased my current ride- a Norco VPS atomik off ebay.
you've got to wait it out. if you like bike, keep an eye on it, and if possible go and meet the buyer and check it out, cos unless you've ridden that exact model before, you'll never really know if it suits you.
people often try their luck but setting a high starting price. the general trend i have noticed is that bikes with high start prices generate less interest and often don't sell, but watch for people re-listing bikes at more reasonable prices.
Good luck and don't rush into anything, there are new bikes being posted daily.

Very wise words jpack and I did not buy it in the end. I think as a rule of thumb, I need to see the bike and be happy with it.
Appreciate the input.
