CBO Group Buy?

All... I'm in need of some pads for the Juicy 7's and also figure the Crossmark are so good (mud & sand on the wet rocks today, couple times I was expecting the rear to slide but stayed solid - very impressive) will get a set in for when the current ones wear out.

Even with just two of each, a CBO order comes in cheaper than local mail order, and of course, way cheaper than the LBS. Sad but true, but what can you do?

Group buy... that's what Smiling Anyone want anything from this particular store? So long as we keep the order under $1K Aussie no import duty and we can split the shipping.

Comments here pls... we'll add an order up soon-ish.

don't buy anything till you get a price from Allen at www.dropnzone.com FYI CBO price for avid bleed kit $34US I paid $20 US, $16US (from memory) for replacement hose here it was $64. Alot of things aren't on his website but he will price most things.

With the exchange rate so good on the US$, online bike shops in the US are a very cheap option as much as I like to support my LBS when you can get cheaper OS its hard to shop locally get some of your buddies to all pitch in and save on the postage and get cheap stuff. I have used Beyondbikes.com from SanDiago for Avid Code sintered pads for $19.99 a set and also ebay US (bicyclesupply) where I got two sets(4 PADS) of Avid Code pads plus postage for $50 AUS .cheap as chips especially with the amount of pads I have been going through with all the dirty water around.
I have also purchased a set of new but last years model Marzocchi 66 RC2X forks for way less than here and they arrived in 8 days well packaged and saved me about $400 which i spent on beer.
hmm beer.

Whatever the site (cycling that is), I'm keen for a bit of foreign exchange...

Rob,

If you are putting in an order (I have no preference where) I need a few things so count me in.

OK, so there are a few takers. Please PM me with the parts, quantity and what they cost at Jenson (with a link is good).

Will order on the weekend or beginning of next week.

Just sent you a PM Rob. Time for new brakes for me.

Thanks!

Hi All

You probably have got an email from Rob saying that he will be buying most parts from Drop Zone. So I will be putting in my order for brakes from Jenson USA.

I want to put it in by today in case they are low on stock so please send through your Jenson orders to me along with a link of the product so that I don't have to trawl through their site looking for the part.

Thanks
Ben

The order for Jenson has been placed. Craig, Jeff, Leonardo should have got an email from me now.

Hi Rob

I would be most grateful if you could order me a set of brake pads (f&r) for Avid Juicy 3 (definitely the same as Juicy 5, probably the same as Juicy 7).

No urgency, but they are wearing...

If you pm me your bank details and total cost, I will deposit amount.

Thanks
Nic

Hey guys... sorry, but the order is in.

As Buck said, he ordered some bits from Jenson, I got the rest from DropNzone. There's always next time, but don't wait for me to organise it... 'cos it's bl00dy hard work! Eye-wink
