Hey Dicky, I know we said same place same time. And I'm REAL keen to attempt to redeem myself after struggling with those cramps last Saturday. But unfortunately I can't make it to the Dam this week. Have a good ride mate, you single-speed no-suspension maniac! See you out there next time. Craig
I've wised up a little, now have a 3" fork instead.
Have built/ground/cut things to facilitate a quick swap between the two, depending on my mood.

Bumped into Mr Pants taking a mate out on a familiar looking spare bike.

To the 5 or 6 of you we almost ran into, it's generally known that the Dam is ridden CLOCKWISE.
Did you not notice the constant flow of bikes coming towards you?
