Going to take a gamble that my lights will arrive by next Wednesday
Mine were posted yesterday - so unless Australia Post implodes I should have them for viewing.
so should have them by the weekend
ayups just arrived, very nice, bright light even in the lit up office
will check them out properly tonight and compare to my hid
actually turns up - i'll probably fall off Mildred in shock!

I hope to participate in this ride, but only if I can remove the child seat from the back of the bike.
As for lights I have bought a dolphin, so hopefully Picky or someone else has had experience gaffe taping a dolphin to a Mongoose.
Around Narrabeen Lakes three weeks ago I was flying (I hit 20 kilometres per hour a few times), so I am eagered to test my metal against other MTB'ers.

Bigears, I'm sure a dolphin will be fine. SOme of these guys have absolutely ridiculous lighting systems
WHen riding at Terry Hills with them, at one stop I turned off my lights to save the battery . After a kilometer more riding, I realised that I had forgotten to turn them back on again!
Then the Dolphin can pedal too. Not too tight with the gaffer tape...
the flippers will slip off the pedals, ahh hang on, thats what the gaff tape is for is it Pikey?
The gaffer's for taping the sardine to your back so the lazy hoop jumping excuse for a mammal put's a bit of effort in...
way you lot are going on it will be used to tape your mouths shut!!

I will see if I can keep up with you guys, I have done more running than biking lately.
I'll be there. But I'm going to take a friend of mine who is just new to MTB. So we'll go slow at the back and you all can race ahead. There's no way he can do Terrey Hills averaging 17kmh yet.
But we'll meet you back at the pub for a beverage

I’m the n00b friend of Buck’s and have only ridden this bike twice… Am recovering from a knee injury/operation too, so will be taking it very easy.
Just joined the forums, it’s a great resource!
