Checking Out the supposedly jaw dropping trails at Stromlo finally 
making a day of it and having a good cruise and all round fun ride :)in particular will be checking out the new DH course just opened up, and the new beginners Dh too.
All are welcome to come, should be good times!
I can assist in organising accomodation if need be, where ill be staying has availabilty from $48 to $99+ and has a pool and sauna, which will come in handy for the next day at Majura Pines as i dare say will be quite sore by then , and is located in between the 2..

I will be down for the day only I mainly want to check out the cross country trails before the scott 24hr.
sweet as, the xc's are supposed to be awesome too for those who want to see whats on offer, check out www.stromloforestpark.com.au
should be there too, binning the ride at the bmx track due to crap weather( wish i knew how to post that its cancelled but im stupid on them there computer thingy's!) so anyone who's reading this, BMX TRACK JUMP DAY IS CANCELLED DUE TO BAD FORCAST! anyone staying on in rainy sydney is more than welcome to continue the ride but with respect to manly/warringah bmx club i think it'll be far too sticky up there and it'll ruin the track also. see you boys at (hopefully) dry mount stromlo. all the best, gazza
Looks like the dry option! At this stage I'll just be attending Friday's ride, planing on returning home Friday night. If anyone else is comming back Friday I am happy to carpool. I'll be comming from Harbord.

not sure how long it takes to get there, im allowing 3-4 hours myself, if anyone gets lost or if i get lost

thanks Alex for organising a great escape from sydney on apec day. stromlo was a perfect venue for both the dh and xc'ers. cheers to Nate for and Bruce for providing the shuttles that made multiple runs a reality .
Thankx again for coming all was an awesome days fun and exploration! (except for the nasty crash at the end!)
back to stromlo will definantly have to happen!
- Majura was great today too if cut a little short by weather/sore legs!- a whole day out there is a must

Funny he PM'ed me the other week about I ride I had suggested ages ago and I mentioned that I had just snapped my achilles.
Never met him but sounds like a good bloke, best of luck to him, injuries suck! I am still a couple months away from off road riding myself.

What a great place to ride worth the trip down even if only for the day. Thanks for putting this ride up on the site I wouldnt have gone down without a prod. Cant wait to spend 24hrs there.
