I need some new lycra.
with supporting a Local Bike Shop?, now if only I had some spare ca$h....
Just blew $400 on pimpin new NSCC Lycra.... might be worth a look.
I will be up for new mtb shoes too thanx Mr Taxman ..
Maybe looking at a 29er(with a twist!)
Not another effing Lynskey Helix......
I thought you were more original than that Gazza.
Come on Mate!
Give me more credit than that!
Watch this space??????
I challenge you to be more original than my new 29er......
Enjoy though.
HT or FS?
My guess is a Scott Scale with a lefty
I'd say it's not what you'd expect.
What have you gone and got?
@Bri. It's a hardtail, should come in at about 8.5kgs!
Will you have it for the Husky?
Just put my deposit on it.
Deposit on 8.5kgs is that off the shelf or custom build.
I might put you out of your misery later on when I get home but ten points for anyone who can guess before then.
Flash 29er
But kind of along the right lines, in a funny kind of way?????
S-works
You were closer the first time!
Are you being technical and I was meant to say Flash 29er Carbon as they do just have the Flash 29er model as well?
I am sure there is a joke in there about Gazza putting a deposit down on a way of losing 8.5kg's....
It's a bike, it's a 29er with nobby tyres, it's red and it's my favored Brand!
I sent a picture to Bri but he mustn't have received it.
http://www.cannondale.com/bikes/mountain/29er-1/...
Didn't get an email (bloody spam filters)
What about the Trail 29er. The twist could be getting that to 8.5kg
I didn't know the Bigtop came in red?
Gazza are you sure a frame that can be built up sub 9kg will take your weight? Don't forget those bigger wheels weigh more so that frame must be bloody light.
Brian, sent you a Mms to your phone.
is it a hong Fu or an LTK just painted up in your favourite team colours with Carbon lefty 29er? That'd save you a few bucks and I think the Hong FU is good for 100kg so you'd be sweet
And less chat about my weight thank you!!!
No pic as yet. What about a Cannondale Cyclocross. There's a red 54cm on sale isn't there
Well done mate!
I was running out of choices.
I thought you said a 29er not a road bike with an identity problem.
29er with nobby tyres!
I know where the nob is mate
Be careful, crossers can be dangerous on xc courses
There everywhere.
Yes, crossers have even turned up at Seaforth RSL.
Someone by the name of Carlotta putting on a show there
Okay, okay, I'm getting my coat....
You'll have to wait and see.
Nice job on getting a crosser..... hope it has UCI approved disk brakes, 'coz you remember why you bought an MTB with disks in the first place!
Thanks for the heads-up Gazza. Got myself 2x Giordana bibknicks.
One of them has a *lot* of white ... which will be interesting on a wet ride...
Oh, and BTW Slowpup, With all the wet weather we've been having, one of the main reasons ive not been out on my mtb is because of expensive pad wear!
Replacing it with expensive rim wear! I knew Yorkshiremen were clever!
Ducks and runs.
cut me some slack,
I'm a cyclist,
it's another bike,
i can ride it in the mud,
and on the road.
gotta be happy with that?
I'm always up for another bike with a new capability.... you can spice up the Akuna bay loop now, TH-Akuna Bay-Salvation-West Head-Center Track.
