2011 Scott 24 Hours of Adrenalin Australian 24hr MTB Championships
Uriarra Road, just up from the Uriarra Road/Coppins Crossing Road turnoff.
We've Gone Global.CORC’s Scott Australian 24 Hour MTB Championships, the largest race of its type in the world and Australia’s original 24 Hour, is now affiliated as a Pillar Event with 24 Hours of Adrenalin so the great fun and participation event that everyone loves is still the same, still at Stromlo, but with a different (and longer) name. But, to all Australian Mountain Bikers, its still "The Scott".
The HourGlass Course is Back. To allow for increased rider numbers, provide heaps of variation out there on the mountain, and make it less crowded foe everyone, the 2011 Scott will bring back the HourGlass course from 2007 and 2008. This is the Red Lap and the Blue Lap. 2 Laps, 2 timing points, 2 transitions, 2 things more to chat about before and after the race and heaps more fun. When you finish one lap of the course, you are automatically transitioned to the next lap of the opposite colour. Sound complicated, works simple. For the riders, it means that the field is spread out over 32 Km but you only ever have to ride a maximum of 16 Km in one go if that's all you want to do between breaks.

This one is going to hurt entered as a pair with another crazy person.
Maybe 12 hour on 12 hours off
You must be mad ...... Or un diagnosed Damian
Ev , see you there . How many in your team ?
I think this year will hurt more then when riding solo. I've not done a night ride since the start of the year, better get my new lights tested soon
It will. You get the false sense of security thinking you'll have a rest between laps so you push your limit from the get go. Doing just an 8 hour pairs at Killingworth with Leopafe totally killed me, but it was fun
Pairs is still a good idea.
Actually I cant wait I have just updated my lights and cant wait to race with them.
But definitely need some time on the dirt in the dark I think Friday night rides will be the go for the next two and a bit months.
Not team so far this year. Would like to do this race but don't have the time to organise a team.
Anyone got a spot in a team ?
Evan

Given up on riding at the Scott this year. Pity, I quite like it.

Good luck to all the boys and girls riding there this year.
