The Birth of Mountain Biking

Just stumbled across this site by Charlie Kelly, the guy who organised and promoted the first ever downhill mountain bike races (the Repack Races) in Marin County California 1974.

Fascinating stuff if you're interested in the history of our sport. Charlie Kelly partnered with Gary Fisher in Kelly-Fisher Mountain Bicycles before Gary and his father bought his interest out in what would become Gary Fisher Bicycles.
