Ok following this weeks aborted attempt to get to OF at night, by me atleast, I'll be there next Tuesday night. Sorry can't do Wednesday as the boss will be in Tassie for work.
Feel free to join me for a social paced night ride.
If Wednesday is your preferred night then I would suspect Lorrie will post one so don't fret(?)
At the request of horsey girl this ride has now been moved to Manly Dam, still a 7.30pm start.
Hope this doesn't prevent anyone who was thinking of riding from joining us nut at the moment she is the only other confirmed starter.

Isn't night riding a Wednesday event? :-)Will have to see if I am back on the bike by then anyway, so no worries I guess.

where have you been? Nuh sorry mate. I often can't do Wednesday nights and Lorrie can't do Tuesday nights so he only ever posts Wednesday, if I can make it I won't post anything for Tuesday but if I can't we will end up with one on each night, as I suspect will be the case this coming week. Tis that clear (as mud)?

Seeing as its been ~ 3 years since i've ridden at OF, is it advisable for me to "re-aquaint" myself with OF in daylight before attempting a night ride with you all?

I can't make Tuesdays so i post for a Wednesday
Stuey generally can't make Wednesday's so he posts for a Tuesday
Quite a crew gathers for both the Wednesday and Tuesday night rides so its all good!
Oxford falls and Terry Hills are so very different rides so thats good to split things up.

I am sure the speed we go at night round Oxford Falls you will be fine - as long as your lights are ok that is!!!

If I get permission to do Tuesday and Wednesday, I will be happy to slow down the end of the group and lower the overall average again!

I think if you removed your rear brake and closed youre eyes a lot more faster action would take place

I'm also thinking of backing up for the two rides this coming weekdays, wish me luck!

To help prevent cross contamination with Christine and "the equine flu" this ride has been moved to Manly dam.

After 90+ kms on the road on the weekend, my knees are telling me to go to the pub for dinner...
So i'll charge my lights ready for a night ride next week maybe.

Was a good pace and lots of fun. I think we'll keep this as a regular night ride till the horsey bug has past. Too much fun not to go back.
