For all you commuters out there Warringah Council are asking for public comment about some new shared bike paths http://www.warringah.nsw.gov.au/comment/comment....

Bike Plan – Proposed Shared Paths
Submissions close Friday September 16 at 6pm
As part of Council's Strategic Community Plan 2011 and Bike Plan 2010-2015 it is proposed to construct the following bicycle facilities:
A 2.5m wide bicycle/pedestrian shared path on the western side of South Creek Road, Cromer from Grover Avenue to James Wheeler Parade.
A 2.5m wide bicycle/pedestrian shared path on the eastern side of South Creek Road and Thew Parade, Cromer from Cromer Campus to Middleton Road.
A 2.5m wide bicycle/pedestrian shared path on the western side of Fisher Road, Dee Why from McIntosh Road to Regent Street.
A 2.5m wide bicycle/pedestrian shared path on the eastern side of Pittwater Road, Dee Why from Lismore Road to existing off-road path near 946 Pittwater Road.
Plans of the proposed shared paths can be viewed below or at Warringah Council's Civic Centre.

They should of gone that wee bit further and linked up with the bike track that runs behind the Timo.
