Bash guard advice
Got a decent hit on my calf from the chain ring last weekend and thinknig about getting a bash guard to prevent it happening again.. Can anyone help me with some decent advice on what to go for (that will fit the bike) and where to get it?

On an Anthem though??? Not sure you want to put a bash guard on that.
The only advice I have is be more careful - think this sort of injury would be pretty rare
You could replace the bigdog with a polycarbonate bashring, or you could get rid of the granny and the big dog (go single up front, of a size of your choosing) and run an MRP1 or a Widget. E13 also make one now. Another option is to stay in the bigdog more. Bash guards you see on DH rigs require mounts that are not on your frame. I think you will need a "BB mount" bash guard if you were really thinking about it.
oh and you will drop about 300g going to single ring up front and realise that you probably don't need all that crap anyway, once you find the right ring size for your legs/hills.
I got rid of the bigdog replace it with a bash guard then replace granny and middle with black spider 26t and 36t chainrings then tuned up front derailer worked a treat.Then when i wore them out i got a widgit 32t
I was in a similar position a couple of years ago and ended up purchasing one of these:

It was the only one I could find that would work on a triple ring. And the reason for buying this was the same reason you are now looking although the damage I did to my leg was a lot worse and required many many stitches.
I used it for a couple of months before I decided that it didn't look that great and it was a freak accident that was unlikely to happen again.
Happy to swap it for a 6 pack of beers if you are keen.
