Trail between Powder Works and Terrey Hills?

Hi guys,
Is there a trail between the top of Powder Works Rd (where it meets Mona Vale Rd) and Terrey Hills? My wife wants to ride from home (Collaroy) to work (Terrey Hills), but I don't feel comfortable having her ride along Mona Vale Rd. Especially because for a part of it there isn't any shoulder at all! I know I wouldn't want to ride it, especially early mornings.

Thanks!

If you turn right at the top of Powderworks, then take the first left into Chiltern rd. Ride down this road and about maybe 80% of the way down the road is Chiltern Trail. Take this fire trail down to mc carrs creek rd, turn left on to mc carrs creek rd. Follow this up to Duck holes trail. Ride up duck holes. This take you up to the top of Mc Carrs creek rd (I'm pretty sure it's MCC rd). Left onto MCC rd for the final run up to terry hills. It's agreat little training ride and a million times safer than riding that stretch of Mona Vale rd.

Yep, wise choise. That stetch of MV Road is not graet. I did it last month on a weekend training ride and the climb back up is slow. With the cars and trucks whizzing close by at speed it is more than a little unnerving.
