Weekday rides during business hours?
Hey all,
Does any like minded people have their weekdays free to hit the trails? Just started working in the late evening so am free to go off road once or twice a week.
I'm thinking it generally needs to be one of Sydneys more local trails (manly dam, Appin, mt Annan, Royal National park, parramatta lakes etc.) but yeah keen to hook up for rides.
On a good day i can do single speed laps of manly in about 31minutes but hate flogging myself on non technical climbs, that being said, i need someone who can occasionally be competitive. Just retired from being a bike courier so need to keep the weight off.
Also have a geared bike, so can bump up the pace a little if need be.
Any groups or people out there?

I can do Monday to Wednesday between 10 and 2 during the schoool term.
I've just wrapped up 12 months off where I was doing all sorts of interesting weekday rides, our pace sounds pretty close so it could have been a good thing. Alas, it's back to the grind for me and time to start riding on the weekends again
I ride 2 - 4 hours Wed and Thurs usually around Sydney. Give us a yell if you are keen - I do Manly in the same sort of time and search for mainly fun single track.
This thread appears to be getting a good response.
Might have a solid group by this time next week.
Nobody pulling sickies as of yet.
Anyone have any track preferences for next week?
I have just started riding but like to head down to the dam during the week, wouldnt mind meeting a few other riders and starting off with them. (Wouldnt mind if I couldnt keep up, just to start off with some other people would be good.)
Will be heading out to Mt Annan tomorrow morning. Keen to start maybe 10 10-30.
I'll check my inbox before leaving, if anyones keen: feel free to suggest a time or location tweak.

What about next Wednesday 9-ish starting at the top of Wyatt Ave ( the Belrose side of Cascades - from there we can head out to Terry Hills and possibly into Oxford Falls maybe even Red Hill for a loop?

I can pretty much ride most tuesday and wednesday's December might be tough with the christmas rush in my shop needing all hands on deck but pretty keen. Been riding Red Hill a lot lately. So far my favorite place. Call me 0410 608 624 if you keen, usually ride in the arvo, try to get some work done in the morning!!!!!
