Well Terrey Hills has had around 8mm of rain so far this week - not too bad really considering the weatherman said it should have been closer to 40mm. Im sure the track can cope with another 10mm or so before the big ride is back...

Watch this space - should still be a go for next Thurs.

Even if we get a couple of mms in the next 24h, i'll be there!!
Get your lights charged!!

Hi Guys, I'm sorry, have to work late tomorrow.
Next time!

Black Flash's picture

Im still planning a ride, TH hasnt had too much rain just yet. But if the BOM observation for TH gets a further 20 mm, then i'll pull the pin - will make the call around 3pm.
Hans - what are your thoughts?

There has been 9mm overnight and looking out the window the trail is too wet, would have loved to join you guys but I am going to be out.

Was planning to come but think it will be a little bit muddy Sad

I'm keen to make this a weekly ride on Thursday evenings over the summer Smiling

What is it with these rides and rain???

Brian's picture

Yeah stop referring to the moon as that does attract water Eye-wink

Limited rain today - 3mm, so i'll be in the car park at terrey Hills car park at 7.30pm. I'll have the funky bike with the funky tyres...

Come on down....

ben.archer's picture

As of 14:30 there has been 3.8mm of rain since 09:00, but that is in addition to the 9.6mm between 02:00 and 09:00, so the true figure is 13.4mm!

Have fun looking at the trail it's going to get messy!

Black Flash's picture

My theory is.... and im probably away with the fairies... Is that it has been reasonably dry up till last night... Im hoping that last nights 9.6mm will quickly soak in and go away... And that todays 3/4/5 mm by then will just make the track dampish... : )

Wow look - is that a flock of pigs ready to fly....

Well i'll be there... If i get totally saturated and covered in mud - awesome!
If it is dampish and i get a little dirty - awesome
if it is dryish for most of the ride... - awesome
Im just happy to ride. Give the bike a wash when i get home... The fact that the Kardashians told me they were going to do the PLT tonight has nothing to do with it... ok i made that up...

mikethebike's picture

I shall see you there mr flash!

pancakes's picture

Bit of mud at the start but the rest was rockin'.

How good were those Kardashians? I never realised they were anything more than a vacuous waste of space...who knew???

Word on the street is the Hilton sisters AND Nicole Ritchie will be at the full moon ride.

Thanks guys - was a good fun ride - very very still night!
Next week we might arrange for the "regular orbiting celestial body" ride.
Thurs 10th looks good for me...

Discodan's picture

Let's do it, the only issue is a 6:30 start time is too early for me to be able to get home, pat the kids and get up to TH. 7:30 would be a lot more civilised
