nobmob chess club
this is probably obvious to everyone but me, but don't go to a medical centre for an x-ray after a bad stack. they send the x-rays away to be reported on without having the injury in front of them. they gave me completely the wrong diagnosis and had me moving my arm as much as possible and booked in for a cortisone injection.
the pain kept getting worse so i went to see my physio sister who examined me and found a fracture in the x-ray. she got me in to see a sports doctor who confirmed a spiral fracture of my clavicle. so that's 3 months off the bike with 9 days wasted. my next ride looks like 2008.
i've noticed a few of us injured lately. maybe we could start up a 'splinter' group- the nobmob chess club. i have a board.

He is now quite good at moving and picking things up with his now extended toes
as the ruptured bursa. just a different diagnosis. i can still drink beer, but how can you watch MTB vids gaz. Anyone for backgammon then.
sorry to hear another mis-diagnosed injury! if its any consolation ive had a broken leg in 2 places diagnosed as a spraned ankle as a boy by a doctor, and more recently a hand broken in 4 places mis-diagnosed as nothing but a "bit of a nasty bruise", at a hospital, again by a "doctor".. moral: when in doubt, trust your instincts and demand an x-ray!! damn doctors!
i believe that you would make team member number 4 for the support team at the Mont...
