I have to take my oh so reliable ute over to Botany - yes.. all the way in 1st and 2nd gear when it's a four speed automatic...No way am I going in peak hour traffic!

Not happy about missing the ride...

Hey Cupcake - you are welcome to ride my bike if you like... you will then feel the urge to rush out and add and Epic to your stable!

I could be keen for this, just depends on the ayup charger status...

Liam - did you find that your batteries had a full charge when you got them....ie, do you think they would have enough juice for a couple of hours riding without me charging. I already know what the safe answer is, but maybe you (or anyone) can shead some light on the subject.

...awfull pun, sorry.

i got my batteries delivered the day of a night ride and managed to charge them for about an hour and a half each( i think full charge is about 3-4 hours) and they lasted the whole ride( 2 hours). cant say what they'd be like without charging mate. i recon they wouldnt last a ride and it probably wouldnt be good for them also.
happy riding,
envious gazza

Yes, they will work to some extent. Although I couldn't guess as to how many hours you may get. I would take all 3 batteries with you and just change out whichever one **possibly** wears out first. They are really small and lightweight. You could put the spare battery in your pack no worries.

If you are still a bit apprehensive, drop by my house in Cremorne and I will give you my charger for the day. I'll leave it up to you. Call me if you want. I can drop it off tonight.

Sorry Stu, basketball is a passion of mine, so I won't be missing that. I am probably doing a Thursday night ride at the Dam though. Smiling

Nate, I got 2 night rides (the Dam & T Hills) out of mine with no hassles whatsoever... I just switched them off when not in use (just remember to switch them on again esp. @ Bantry Bay Eye-wink)

Hi, I would tag along. I cannot do tomorrow, but really want to be on my bike at least once a week.

Let me know if you are going otherwise I might go out to Terrey Hills instead.

Cheers, Volker
