hey guys
me again lol you prob all getting sick of my questioins

i have just bought a sigma 590. good price at 25 bucks and has a ugly wire lol. i no its not gps but yea.

the other question i have is im running: Tektro mechanical Disc brakes, Shimano levers

i want to know should i upgrade front and bake or one.

i have a jamis x3 2011.

Never mind.

Hydro brakes offer a lot more power and modulation than cables, which is particularly good on long descents. They feel very different, so if it were me, I would upgrade both at the same time to keep consistancy on both ends.

I'd also try and get something a bit further up the range from entry level. My Elixr 5 are so much better than the Juicy 3's they replaced its not funny, but the Elixr CR's on the other bike are not a significant improvement over the 5's.
