I was just wondering roughly how much does it cost to have a bike posted from Melbourne to Sydney? Over $100?

can you post it? or it needs to be couriered?

Cheers,

Loz

I got a Road bike sent up with a courier and it was just over $100...
For the life of me, I can't remember which logistics company it was... Sad

I'm sure this has come up before and people suggest using a bus company like Greyhound or something. Can't recall details though.

When my Yeti came from Melbourne the bloke I bought it off went to his LBS who packed it into an old bike carton and used there courier company - I think he paid around $80 all up. I suppose it depends on the relationship with the LBS.

Greyhound will bus it up, but you need to collect it from there terminus.

Melbourne also, and was happy with the service of "Couriers please" the box didn't look crushed or knocked around at all, I think it was $80.

Looks like it can be couriered for less than $100.....

Could probably courier it to my work..

was thinking of flying to Melbourne to get it but it seems it should be able to be posted without too much fuss.....

Thanks again,

Loz
