Mount Tianjara 'The ultimate challenge' - NSW South Coast
Heading down to Lake Conjola (near Ulladula/Milton) to visit parents this week. I was looking at some nearby Rides and 'Rides by Location' on this site provided a description of Mount Tianjara, which is only 25mins from Lake Conjola. Looks interesting and a good workout and was wondering if anyone has been on this ride/track? Specifically, as Ride by Location describes, …if one were looking for the ultimate challenge’ the ride up from Twelve Mile Road from the Princes Hwy then South along Tianjara Fire Trail…? While I am at it, does anyone know of any other rides in or around Lake Conjola? Will be down there on Tuesday till the week’s end, so if anyone is up for a ride let me know.

Yeah - I drove up to the escarpment and rode up there. It's all fire roads so guessing you won't have any troubles finding the way.
Good luck with the climb up - I'm guessing it's a brute. Did I mention we drove up?
Would be interesting to hear a report with pics if you can manage it - it was a long time back when we visited.
You could try the fire trails that start from the road on the way into Lake Conjola. There look to be a few just before you get to the bowling club. We were down there a few weeks ago water skiing and I saw a girl on an XC training ride go past the ski beach so there must be some trails near that part of the lake.
There are fire trails & single track down at Sussex Inlet that go from behind Ocean & Earth factory or waste depot my brother has a 40km + ride he does he knows the area very well too especially to ride to Bendalong from Sussex Inlet or Berrara which is the northern side of Conjola or MUD have a few tracks down Ulladulla way as well
Might be a little late as you'll already be down there but there are a few trails that run off the end of Thorne St (down past the Fire Shed/Oval, on the way to the SewerageTreatment Works). If you follow the fire road down past the Fire Shed for about a km or so you'll see a fire road veering off up hill to right. there'll be a gate visible at the top of the hill. Its an old fire road slightly overgrown in places that winds its way across the back of Narawallee Reserve and links up with the road that goes down to the tip. There are a couple of little fun side trails that go off the tip road and all end up back up on the Entrance Rd on the Highway side of the Bowling Club. I've down it as a loop starting at the fire Shed a few times. Give a shout out to the old guy ( my dad) doing his gardening in the house across the rode from the Fire shed as you go by.
