Bike build advice
Hi All,
I am currently starting to get all the parts to build my new bike, looking at making it more of a DH setup as they frame can be used for both FR & DH.
I am trying to decide on either Fox 40s or Boxxer World Cups up front, just am after any advice, which one handles the Perth ride areas better, where are service centres if requiried?
Also has anyone got any parts from the below site? There prices seem too good to be true, any help on this would be great. I am looking at getting the front forks from them.
http://tbsm.com.au/
Also if I wanted to get my frame resprayed or powder coated, where would be some good places to take it to? Do any bike shops specialise in this?
Thanks for the help in advance.

I have bought alot of stuff from these guys. Bought some Fox Float 150mm RLC forks at a good price, they were old display stock, no box or manual. Perfect condition. Last years model.
No probs with buying from them. Just ask if they have been built up on to any demo bikes. Usually just display stock, from the previous year they are getting rid of.
Thanks for the info and advice. I will have to ask them if they have been built up for sure.
Another vote for TBSM. Got my GoPro from there. Good communication and fast turnaround.
TBSM are a great store. Bought heaps of stuff there, and highly recommend them. They slant heavily towards the big bike crowd, although will still sell and service anything to customers. And I have friends that have bought bikes there before and were more than happy with TBSM.
I don't reckon there is much of a difference between Boxxer and 40s. Go with what your instinct is telling you to buy. I have used Boxxers before and couldn't fault them.
Good luck.
Thanks all for the advice. Really appriciate it. I will start to post pics of the bike and build pretty soon, well as soon as I start getting more parts in. So far I have the frame, the wheels will be in hopefully by the end of the week/early next week and will hopefully have the forks in about 2-3 weeks.
Build so far:
Frame: Banshee Scythe
Wheels: Hope pro 2 evo hubs, DT SWISS champion spokes & Sun Ringle MTX 33 rims.
Nice rims. I have those. Not that light, but awesomely strong. I read about those and it doesn't seem they make a good candidate for tubeless which was a shame as I was looking to find a way to have off a kilo or two.
