Maison dieu Rd. Just near the 100kph sign on the right, climb the steps over the fence for the trail head.
Registration
Pre race registration is available by emailing Steve the poinstscore officer: [email protected]
We STRONGLY suggest you use this to help minimize queues on race day.
Simply send through your Name, Race number and MTBA License number and skip the registration queue. Just go to the head of the line and pay and your ready to race.
On the day the registration tent will be set up in the clearing at the end of the down hill track.
Registration is from 8:30am to 9:30am
Laps numbers depend on conditions and sometimes the course is modified...
Staggered start, but all riders on the trail at the same time.
Cost last year was $10 for the race, plus day licence if needed.

Check the HMBA website about who to email when registering. There was an announcement made at todays race about a change. That is, not Steve anymore.
I wish I could make this one but the wife and I are going on one of those baby moon things... Seriously, who makes up this s#$T up
Please note that the date is being changed for the HMBA round 3 race (for both XC and DH). Too many people who organise the race were going to be away the weekend of the 18th due to Capital Punishment so we have decided to push it back one week to Sunday 25th March.
You can stil pre-register by sending an email to me at [email protected]. The new pointscore officer is away then due to getting married so I'll be doing it again that weekend.

So now it's on the Mont Weekend? No one goes in that race anymore.
As everyone knows the rain has not been good for off road riding of late. A recent track inspection at Awaba has brought us to the conclusion that the next scheduled XC club race could be in jeopardy of being too wet for racing. Therefore, we have made the early decision to move the next HMBA XC race to Singleton. This is the same location we raced at last year, but this race will have the same format as a normal club race at Awaba – i.e. there will be a set number of laps per grade.
Date: Sunday 25 Mar 2012
Location: Maison Dieu Rd, Singleton
Rego open: 8:30am
Rego closes: 9:30am
Racing starts: 10:00am

Note: No decision has been made regarding the Down Hill race at Awaba on the 25th March.

Awesome, I'm in for sure never ridden at Singleton before. It' always good to be able to post another Hot Lap for a new venue (someone has to post a slow time after all
