Hi Guys
After rather foolishly signing up for a 24hr solo MTB race I need to up my training a lot so I've moved my retro roadie Malvern Star onto the mag trainer. The original tyre destroyed itself in no time so I've got a new one and also a dedicated trainer tyre but rather than swap tyres all the time I'm looking for a spare wheel I can use.
Ideally if someone's got an old 700c wheel with a 6 speed cluster on it they want to get rid of I can just swap the wheel out when I want to break out the old girl for a weekend ride. Obviously it doesn't need to be anything flashy, quite the opposite in fact. I'm in the Sydney Northern Beaches

Hey danny, you might do better to try either the tip shop, or join and place a want-to-buy posting in the Marketplace section of bicycles.net.au.
You'll need moderator permission to post there as a new member as you'll be under the post count and membership time minimums to use the market place, but if you ask nicely and don't convey yourself as a prat you should be fine.
