Recommended accommodation Kowen / Sparrow Hill / Queanbeyan?

Our Mont 'Brady bunch' team is heading to Canberra / Kowen Forest / Sparrow Hill this weekend for some much needed training.

Can anyone recommend a good place to stay for this Saturday night? A bike friendly place would be ideal. (We used to stay at the 'Carotel' in the past - but it's quite noisy and it's also 35 kms from the tracks). Not much fun to drive that far after we finished our night time practice laps. We are 3 adults and 3 teenagers therefore something with a family room / bunk room would be ideal - probably best somewhere between Bungendore and Queanbeyan. Thank you in advance.

I have also stayed at the Carotel in the past also. Didn't find it that noisey. I did like the close proximity to Majura Pines.

Also stayed at Crestview in Queanbeyan, the 3 1/2 stars is a bit generous, but it was ok.

Hans, if it's Mont training then shouldn't you all be camping...

We stayed at the Forrest - There was three of use, each had a room and the bikes stayed inside
