I am a newby to the MTB world. Please go easy on me Eye-wink

I have a 2012 Scott Aspect sport 29er which I crashed on the weekend. I needs a new front wheel and shocks so far. I dont want to spend big money on shocks and a wheel as the bike only cost me $900.

I have found some Manitou 100mm travel forks for about $200 or a pair of rock shox for the same money, which brand would be better? What should I expect to pay for a wheel/rim? It has Araya DS-700 Disc, 32H

Cheers Dave

Bugger about the crash. Hope you are okay?

Suntour XCR , when you look at the bike you can see that the (top) lockout side of the forks actually sits higher than the preload/rebound control side.
