Went out for a ride yesterday at the Dam, being the glorious weather that it was, thought i would take the chest mount GoPro with me that i bought for Skiing and made a little clip. My riding isnt anything special, but it may help you through your day at the office Smiling

Looks quite dry too - thought it would be much worse than that.

You're raising the bar for trail updates now, Traffic lights don't cut it anymore, I demand a video update every day. It's a lot dryer than I expected, I'm definitely going to go for an early lap tomorrow

The trail was pretty dry for the most part, just one section after the 19th hole bridge section that was super muddy, not alot of surface water, just mud.

Cheers guys, it was a fun ride Smiling

Good to also see how dry it is as well, i am very shocked. I will definitely try and get out there this Sunday for a pedal

Nice vid.

Now who jinxed it and mentioned dry trails Sad

Nice edit. You need to work on the camera position though.

It shows to much bike and not enough trail.
With a my gopro I have turned the camera upside down(flipped image in settings) and that allows me to see stem/bars and then heaps of track

I like the chest mount ! heaps better than the helmet mount , nice one !

I agreee, it was the first time I had taken it out on the bike, next time I will angle it up a bit higher, i had it tilted a little forward as thats where it needed to be for skiing to look good Smiling

I will have a play around with the settings and see what I can see, thanks for the tip Smiling

Sweet clip Fordy, good work.

Does anyone happen to know if the chest straps for the GoPro's will mount with the 3D GoPro housings?

Cheers

.... but I'm sure someone on GoPro's own forums would be able to advise.

At a glance they both seem to have the same mounting point, there is no reason it wouldnt work on the chest harness Smiling

it would be silly of them to have a whole separate mounting system designed for each unit when they are of similar size. the beauty of the GoPro idea for me is the universal mounting system thats fairly priced.

Good idea - I should have thought of that before posting. Will check them out.

Both good points (kudos to Hawkeye and Fordy)

Hey Benny,
Brilliant video - I am so getting a GoPro - only mine will show far more stacks :-/
It's a shame you can't make it to the first (of many) adventures I am planning for 2012
Keep checking the event pages at http://www.meetup.com/Highlife-Adventures/
Cheers
Kim
