Upcoming advocacy events would normally appear here, but things are a little quiet at the moment and it's empty.

Don't be shy - this is a community site so if you're out there working post your meeting.

Following on from the wildly successful inter-agency weekend lantana lash of a few weeks ago, I present to you the mid week "Turgid" lantana lash. This is to enable those shift workers that are off during the week to get fair up it. Meeting at the Shaw's Farm gate at 0900 hrs to rendezvous with Glassy, Danny and Vickii we will proceed to tear the stinking lantana a new one! Duration of play will be approximately 4 hours, but if you can't stay that long, worry less. You are free to depart at your whim. For those that have the school run to perform, turn up whenever you are able to. For those that have a list of chores as long as their arm from the missus, as Mr. T said "GET SOME NUTS!" and tell her they'll be done another day- you have lantana to slay. Ideally long sleeves and long pants, gloves, hat and eye protection (glasses, welding mask, gladiator helmet etc) should be worn, and don't forget water and some little lunch. See you there.

Thanks guys - every bit helps make YRP better, and shows how MTB riders are part of the solution, not the problem.

I'd turn up just to see JP in his Gladiator helmet, standing over the fallen lantana waiting for the thumbs up from the emperor Eye-wink

Well pretty sure I can be there now... but I may be a little late as I have drop the kids off at school that day.

this is harking back to the turgid days, all we need is someone to collapse or spear off into the bush at 40clicks to complete the picture!

Al was the collapser.... anyone can go into the bush at anytime... you provided blood to consecrate the trails. Turgid days were good days.

Shame we don't have Rod around these days for this type of stuff too (poor bugger with his broken shoulder and collar bone at the moment). He got me into guerilla regen in the first place.... a real greenie without the bullcrap.
