Crankin' 4 a Cure

We're doing our thing to support the Cancer Council NSW. All money raised will help in the fight against cancer!
From July 1st to 7th, scottyb and I will be slogging it out on the rough and unforgiving mountain bike trails of British Columbia, Canada, as we compete in the B.C. Bike Race: http://www.bcbikerace.com/the-journey
We've been training hard and we know the race will be one of the hardest weeks of our lives, but we will be spurred on by the memories of our family and friends who have battled Cancer in the past and those who continue to fight everyday. Our race seems insignificant compared to this fight, but we want to increase awareness about preventative measures and raise much needed funds for the NSW Cancer Council.
How can you help?
On Saturday 9th June, come and join us for a leisurely bike (or scooter/skateboard/stroller, etc) ride from Adcock Park, West Gosford to Woy Woy Foreshore Park. At the finish, hang around for a yarn with our mates, snack on a sausage sambo and see if you are the winner of one of our great prizes: including an iPad2 and a secret adventure experience!
Please sign up to join our team and ask your family and friends to sponsor you for this event. Every $10 you raise will get you a raffle ticket in the draw for one of our prizes.
If you can't manage the ride, please come to Adcock Park or cheer the riders on at any of the many parks along the route.
If you can't be there on the day, please sponsor one of our riders to play your part in the fight against Cancer!

Since the trails will all be too wet this weekend and this is nice short road ride... how about all you fair weather fairy MTB types get on a bike and come along to support Bullbar!
