Meet here.

• Wear: Boots, long trousers and long sleeved shirts. Council will provide gloves, but bring some if you have them.

• Tools: Bring loppers, sheers and/or Saws. Council will provide some tools, and chemicals.

Some of you may be getting tired of the Lantana but part of our commitment to Knapsack and council is rehabilitation. It will be a long and tiring day, but its best we make the most out of everyday.

As for lunch, we are hoping to have a BBQ to use. Some planning will be needed. ie BYO meat or a small cash donation.

PS, we are looking to work on the Existing Downhill hopefully in July.

Bloody surprise lunch with my GF's folks! Don't think I'll be able to make it up guys. Good luck with it, and next time I'll make sure she knows that I'm working!

Sorry Dudes!

Well I could do a big academy awards type thanks but that would be boring.... but still thanks for everyone turning up, working hard, listening to instructions and well everything.

A BIG thanks to council staff, it was great finally getting an opportunity to work with the, Trish and Erik were brilliant.

So looking forward to the next one in around a month.. aiming to the top part of the DH track above Lover's Walk.

Nerf, we will start calling you Blister if you turn up after the work is done.

Todd, BBQ went well. Stephen cooked it up at the clubhouse and we carried the food down for the team. I have someones bag here too.

Vinno and I went over to Knapsack late today to check it out. Seems like everybody was out there today. The crossing works well btw. Just don't ride on that mud Moggio put in front of the rocks.

That's going to take some dry weather to bed in.. take your rake.

Were people riding the diversion around the newly cut log?

Chuck's picture

Yeah, no sign of anyone stupid enough not to.

moggio's picture

Yay, I have a new found belief in humanity! Smiling

I am sure that Eric stated that he was going to source some crushed granite to go on top of the muddy entry and exit of the creek crossing as well as for the creek crossing itself.
