Great trails
NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.
You guys have some great tracks around here. You've obviously got some very dedicated trail fairies around your way!
I visit the Central West (Mudgee, Dubbo, Orange, Bathurst and Lithgow) from Sydney about once a month with work and bring my bike when I can. I've riden Geurie, Kinross and Rydal and am going to try Mugga Hill out in a few weeks time. What's it like? Is it similar to the other 3 tracks? I'm just wondering which bike to bring.
Thanks,
Jason

Hi JL, thanks for the wrap. I having ridden Mugga hill but have heard good things about it.
let us know
Hi all, Mugga Hills trails are deliberately really tight, great on a 26, theyre not rough in the classic pine forest sense (roots everywhere), has a few rocky patches but mostly smooth and tight. Its tight to keep moto damage to a minimum, being right on the edge of Dubbo its trails are prime targets for selfish idiots who dont care about anybosy else's fun.
Its a fun little trail network that will hurt you as much as you want it to, you can cruise around, but if you ride it hard it gets hard and hurty. About 4.5km of trails, signage bollards are going in in the next few weeks thanks to Dubbo City Council.
Geurie is by comparison open, flowy and smooth - more trails planned to be built there in the next few months BTW (15-20km more!)
