CANCELLED DUE TO HEAVY RAIN IN RED HILL AREA

-------

This is technical riding at it's best. Want some practice in the best technical riding that Sydney has to offer? Gee, I sound like I'm selling something.

I will be riding this to practice my technical skills. It has been a long time since I have practiced on a track like this. Hopefully the weather remains good. The ride will involve stopping and starting, to play and practice on various parts of the trail.

Places to visit would include all the good stuff... 4wd follies, Mr Mx, Garden of gullies. Come along and have a blast! Laughing out loud Based on the technical nature of this trail, new riders may struggle a bit - you will likely have a fall or two - but don't let that put you off. I am sure to fall off and provide additional amusement too. Smiling But remember, you would be there to learn!

Meet at the Reserve car park, off Lady Penrhyn Drive. See the google map link. I will be in the blue Mazda.

See ya there!

Except for torrential rain I will be there, though it has been a long time since I tried my bunny suit on ( available for kids parties, christenings,S&M get togethers etc).

....come on at least you and I will be the only two wearing crocheted bike attire coated in latex Sticking out tongue

Red Hill is ALWAYS bloody wet even after two month of no rain so I am always puzzled by the damp talk.

I must add my 2 cents worth to the boring tag earlier, You must do a tour of red hill with the infamous “Heckler” he is the master of linking the Red Hill loops together making hours of non repeated trails.

See you in the morning

Sorry, but I am baling from this ride. It has rained too much overnight to keep it fun. Very, very sorry. Sad

Keep viewing for a revised time in the next few weeks... if possible. The schedule is pretty packed for the next month.

Hi there, long time lurker here. I used to ride the old Grizzly's DH back in the day, I'm wondering where the new DH comes out down the bottom? I've heard about new DH lines off in the bush, as someone said already near the Moto jumps, I haven't been to Red Hill in ages and was hoping to come along to the ride on the 1st, a shame it got canned. Can someone point me in the right direction of the new DH lines down to Middle Creek? I was going to do a ride there on the next clear day and wanted to check them out. Any help would be great. Cheers, Nick.

That's ok, I'll find it , I just need to go for a good ride there to find the other DH tracks out the back there. I'll just find my way out the bottom of the new DH near the jumps, I know before you could come out right next to the fire station, I'll just follow my nose. No worries, it's part of the fun of riding!

Nick.

you still can come out there, still a good track, if a touch neglected, take the 2nd right just BEFORE the right to the dirt jumps ect, as the 1st right old entrance is overgrown as hell.. there is a left turn about 1/3 of the way in that might take you down new lines?, but i alway take the right and go down past the bridge drops and wall ride etc to come out at the old exit..

Thanks Alex, I'll have to check it out on Friday which is predicted to not rain.
