The WSMTB XC Round 5 will be held on the exciting Blue Gum Lodge track at Springwood on 29 July. All welcome!
Note that the normal race schedule does not apply - see www.wsmtb.com for the revised schedule.

Ive never been to Blue Gum Lodge before, trying to decide which bike to bring, the SS hard tail or the geared dualy
It's tight, twisty and techy.

To ride them more often. Might take the Rize for this one and leave the 29er at home?

but i think it must have been you that put your arm out from behind the tree on Jacobs ladder and gave me the fright of my life on lap six?
I never really saw anything apart from the flash of the camera. Don't think a close up of me looking like a rabbit in car headlights would have been a good shot!

Six laps hurt and that climb was awfull on the last lap!
Awesome racing today. Thanks WSMTB for a layed back, friendly atmosphere and perfect track marking.
Rode B-grade, 5 laps was tough but I just pipped my mate in the end - hoping top 10? maybe just outside - didn't ask.
Good into to club racing for me - I'd only done the choco foot single track stuff and 50km races to date, although I've been a member of WSMTB for a while just never made it to a race.
