Ian's effort inspired me to keep pushing.
Being able to pick your line in the daytime helps a bit too.

Well done

Nice work Giles.
There is more of a line to follow these days which makes it a little easier but it's still really tough.

Thanks Ian - your 9 minutes is pretty safe BTW.

Someone put a new segment named Bee's Nest on Strava and I got 8:56 or something on that one!
Didn't really help today with the 3 ring though...... didn't perform as well as I would have liked.

Well done for making it up that tough climb...although for those of us who only just make it...I've found it a little of a double edged sword...as every time since you'll think to yourself...

...I've made it up here once before...Sticking out tongue

Ian, I did wonder why you thought a bee's nest smashfest would be good 3 ring prep Smiling

Nice effort Giles, I am yet to ride it without putting a foot down.

Well that means now I'm going to have to try it too. Good effort Mr Hathill.

I almost feel the pang of thinking I should try and then go Nah!

That hill is always associated with Todd saying every time before we go to ride down it "Ooooooh!, Its running so dangerous at the moment... the line has changed and its just falling apart, it is just SOOOO dangerous now!!!!". Then he speeds off like a maniac down it at full speed, while I start down expecting certain death.

Ha ha, rode down it for the first time in nearly 2 years the other day, still fun, the lines have changed heaps from before, the top is pretty chopped up but fun!

I bet its "really dangerous!!!" Smiling
