Spring must be close - first snake spotted

Arrived at Ourimbah at midday on Sat, settting up bike next to the car and noticed a small brown snake enjoying the sunshine in the grass about 2 metres away !

LCNP midday Friday and a pretty sizeable red belly up towards the Belinda Cresent entrance (up towards the Cheltenham entrance). I certainly wasn't expecting to see one just yet.
