We recently took a friend out for her first ride (Mt Annan) and unsurprisingly she's fallen in love with the sport. She's considering selling her roadie and in the interest of encouraging her to do so I'm trying to find her a suitable second hand bike that won't break her budget (about $800-$1000).
She's about 5ft nothing (give or take a cm or so) and isn't too fussed about HT or dually.
If anyone knows of someone considering an upgrade or who has a bike for sale already it'd be great if you could let me know.

I have a medium Cannondale Jekyll dually in that price range that might be of interest. You'll need to budget for a female-specific saddle, but it has XTR 3x9 drive train and tubeless tyres, carbon bars and I will throw in a new spare middle ring for the cranks. Choice of 100mm or 130mm fork. Frame is in excellent nick.
