Hi,

As discussed previously I will be doing the Oaks this Sunday morning. Just found out that there are no trains running as well so there goes the cruisy ride up on the train!!! So i will probably go up the oaks (probably not all the way), maybe do St Helena's and then back down again.

Damn, I needed to be in the Blue Mountains this weekend too. We will see if I can fit this in anyway. The trains have stuffed the whole thing up though. I really wanted to do the St Helenas out and back.

Andrew, can you break two bikes down in your car? I may be able to go to this if you shuttle me back up to Woodford. Let me know champ.

liam, i thought you were a little wiser than to ask lorrie to 'break' two bikes down! How many can he break in a year? Dont let him anywhere near your bike!

Liam's bike is a Norco!!!!!

you're in fine form on that one, this thing will never leave me alone!!!! arrrggghh!

I'm confused Liam ... Please explain ... Eye-wink but yes i can fit two bikes in /on my car and i can shuttle you to the top.

I don't have internet access at home so if there are any changes let me know.

Mmmmmm, St Helena's goodness. Can't wait for this one either. Smiling

A NOBMOB leisurely ride - my favourite.

Nothing like a leisurely 53.8k's over 5 hours elapsed and 3 hours 51 minutes of ride time in the Australian bush.

Humidity in the high 90's, flies that only stayed away when you hit 18kph, cramps and 3.5 litres of water wasn't enough,

Since we ran out (and we were so shagged) we went down the fire trail instead of the single track - yes we didn't do the sniggle.

Thanks guys and Mark the Cronulla dude who outrode us all.

Hi All, I had a blast on St Helenas and also the run home.

Very lucky I bumped into Paul on the way out of the car park early this morning or I could've ended up doing the whole ride by myself.

Arms and legs are feeling very sore now. (and my AR*&^SE - thanks MR hardtail) Ready for a nap.

I am a BIG chance of Manly dam next Saturday. Earlier the better.

Ciao

Speaking of sore posteriors, my arse is killing me. I think I hurt all over. My muscles hurt, my arse hurts, my hands and wrists hurt. Ummm, what doesn't hurt?? No more comments on that please Stu, Paul, et al.

Good to see you are online now MarkyMark. Now that you have access to this sensational resource called NobMob, your personal time has now just taken a very good turn for the worse! Eye-wink

Excellent work today guys. 53km in 5 hours may sound not-so-fast, but St Helena's is always going to be a slow trail. These are seriously slow, steep and rocky trails we rode. Still, it was excellent fun!! Smiling

Next time, I will remember to bring more food and water. Sad

if you two have sore bottoms you could consider breaking out the PADDED LYCRA!!!!
George has plenty of advice to help stop the soreness... Smiling

There will be no padded lycra! I thought we had been over this before? Smiling I have my rough and tough image to uphold.

And just looking again at the title of Andrew's ride:

"Leisurely ride..."

There was not much 'leisurely' about it. But it makes for interesting irony. Eye-wink
