RACE POSTPONED Sunday 23 Sept 2012
Saturday, 22 September 2012 14:53 | Author: Steven |
RACE POSTPONED due to land council issues.

Urge other riders not to be in contact with land coucil as this might make things worse.

Dekka will be at track 8.00..we still believe you can use the track with the 4wds, motorbikes and horses.

I saw the notice that Rockys 4hr may be moved to Ourimbah.

I hope this issue has a resolution and public access does not get shut down.

We will keep an eye on it
Thanks

Thanks for the news Beaver, I wasnt aware of any issues at time of posting.

If things deteroriate and we cant get access, keep the day free and we'll find an alternate venue.

I think casual access is still OK at this stage, but I'll keep an eye out as well.

I'm in though if it happens!

I have your Jersey Gaby, I'll bring it to this social unless there is a quicker way? Maybe giving it to Al to pass onto you.?

ChopStiR's picture

So this joint is totally closed to all mtb's?

Looks that way, going by the Facebook page... Real shame, but hopefully it can be worked out!

... and if they think they have an erosion problem now, then wait 6 months to a year after the volunteer maintenance stops and see what the tracks look like then.

Water flow is the problem, not bikes. Turbocharge it with powered vehicles like motos and 4WD ripping through the hardpack layer, once the mtbs are no longer around to displace them, and they'll have an epic mess on their hands.

this will be fun for the land owners if the fence it off too ,motos will still get in some how ..
